Starla apparently worked as a secretary at a nuclear power facility in her youth, and that’s where she met Zac’s father, but no more information is available about her career.

Starla Baskett’s Personal Life and Divorce
Starla Baskett lived with her husband, David Efron, in Arroyo Grande, California, where she gave birth to Zac and his younger brother, Dylan.
Zac was born in 1987, while Dylan was born in 1992. Starla didn’t have any more kids until she got divorced from her husband in 2016. Later on, he went on and got married to another woman, giving birth to twins Olivia and Henry and giving Zac and Dylan two half-siblings.

Starla’s Relationship With Her Ex-Husband
Starla met her ex-husband, David, when she was working at a power plant. He used to work as an engineer in the same place where Starla served in administration.
While we’re not sure when Starla and David got married, they were together for a long time before getting divorced in 2016.
Since neither is as public as their famous son, no one knows the truth behind their divorce, but it didn’t affect their relationship with their sons, so it was probably done without conflict.

Zac constantly posts his mother and father on his Instagram account, albeit separately. He often celebrates his mother’s birthday, and in 2019, he posted a photo of David for Father’s Day.
Starla’s Support of Her Children
More than once, Zac Efron has mentioned how supportive his parents are of his career. In 2023, when he earned his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, David, Starla, and his brother Dylan were all there to witness it.

During his acceptance speech, Zac thanked his family, mentioning that his parents made a lot of sacrifices in their lives to support his career. Apparently, Starla and David used to drive him back and forth to auditions, which were mostly three hours from where they lived.
He also once stated that his mother and father are the reason he’s famous today.
Who Is Dylan Efron, Starla Baskett’s Youngest Son?
While most people are familiar with Zac Efron, some people don’t know that he has a younger brother called Dylan. Born on the 6th of February, 1992, Dylan is currently 33 years old.
The young Efron family member is currently a YouTuber and social media personality. He frequently posts travel content on his Instagram account, and he never fails to talk about his relationship with his famous brother, Zac Efron.

Dylan used to work as a producer and even featured in Down to Earth with his older brother. They also posted a YouTube video series together, called Off the Grid, where they were shown enjoying outdoor activities.
