Tamron Hall says a lot of good things about her husband. But one thing she admits he wasn’t so good at is flirting.
When the journalist sat down for an interview, she told the story of how she met her hubby. The two knew each other for years. For the longest while, Tamron thought Greener was either trying to represent her (given that he was a manager) or outright stalking her.
Apparently, he was just hitting on her. Then, one day, he shot his shot and asked her out. She agreed, and three weeks later, they were living together.
2. He Had to Hide From Hall’s Mother for a While

Hall thought her old-school mom wouldn’t be too excited that her daughter had moved in with a guy that she basically just met. So, whenever she would visit, Greener would have to pack his stuff and stay at a friend’s house.
Fun Fact: The couple’s trick didn’t work. Hall’s mom knew what was going on from the get-go.
3. He’s Lucky He Dated Tamron Hall After She Left NBC
Greener didn’t start dating Hall until she had set her NBC years behind her. As it turns out, this was a good thing for the couple.
She said the competitive line of work made it hard to see people for who they are. Once she no longer had to worry about her spot on the show, she got to know her partner better.
4. Tamron Hall Didn’t Mean to Make a “Secret Husband” Out of Him

Hall didn’t exactly put her relationship with Greener on display. However, she says it was never her intention to hide him. She just didn’t want to drag her personal life to TV at that point.
She also kept their wedding private by tying the knot at home.
Side Note: Yet another thing Hall and Greener kept private was the pregnancy. Tamron Hall’s pregnancy was considered high-risk. With that in mind, I can see why the first-time mother wanted to keep it secret—at least until she felt she and her baby were in a “safe place.”

Steven Greener is mostly a private guy, though. So, it’s hard to get all the new updates about his life. But at least we’ve got his wife’s talk show and interviews to keep us in the loop!
